Public Affairs and Fundraising Manager



  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Affairs or related field; Master’s degree preferred

  • Ability to plan and organize work independently

  • Ability to develop and promote collaboration

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in public relations, communications and/or marketing

  • Expertise with social media tools

  • Ability to travel and reliable means of transportation

  • Personal computer in the home with internet access; mobile telephone


Essential Functions:

  • Plan, develop, and implement outreach strategies to promote Worldview Global Culture Alliance Corporation’s mission, programs and services

  • Create a cohesive public relations strategy to better position Worldview Global Culture Alliance Corporation in the public and private sectors

  • Develop and execute a fundraising plan including annual giving, donor development, and other fundraising events

  • Serve as staff liaison to the Board of Directors’ Development Committee

  • Develop and maintain a thorough working knowledge of available public and private service organizations and possible funding sources

  • Develop cooperative working relationships with other agencies for planning and/or service provision

  • Help identify possible funding resources and develop proposals to secure such funding

  • Serve as an agency-wide consultant to insure that program and departmental-specific efforts are consistent with and reinforce organizational goals
